We are currently featuring 3 musical instruments from the Far East:
Dan Tranh is the most romantic and enchanting musical
instruments in the Far East. Its fluid, bright sounds have attracted
the listeners since the early days of oriental musical history. In
modern days, Dan Tranh is the most popular traditional instruments and is
also frequently used in modern musics.

Dan Bau is the most unique instrument in the world.
Dan Bau has only 1 string yet capable of generating captivating harmonic
sounds for a full range of 3 octaves. Dan Bau has such a distinct and
attractive harmonic sound that "if you have heard it once, you would never
forget it".

Dan Nhi is sometimes referred to as the "Eastern
Violin"; however, it is a much simpler instrument with lots more flexibility
allowing the player to express any modern songs with only 2 strings instead of 4 or
more as often found in modern instruments. Dan Nhi is one of the most
popular traditional instruments in the Far East.

The "Dan Nhi" family includes: Dan Nhi (or Dan Co) and Dan Gao in Vietnam (Dan Ho or Erhu in China).
We'll try to provide you the most extensive information on the web as we can about the
above instruments and their associated musical theories and how-to-play instructions; however, we do expect that you are already familiar with the fundamentals of
Western music theory and already know how to play at least one of the very popular
Western music instruments (e.g., guitar, piano or violin, etc.)
